[Phibrizzo has a magical tome in his lap when he looks into his journal for this video broadcast. It's interesting, the things one can find in the library. He's learned a bit about magic in other worlds.]

Just curious, but how many people here practice magic, or come from a world where people use magic?

[This inquiring mind wants to know. Specifically, he wants to know who poses the most potential threat, but from an academic standpoint, he is sincerely interested as well. In that vein, he shares a little bit of information about his own world.]

There are more people who can't use it than those who can in my world, but it's still common enough for there to be a Sorcerer's Guild where magic is formally taught. A lot of people who can't use magic directly can still use magic objects made by a sorcerer.

[Including brass rackets. He'd like to get some of those here in Luceti and introduce the sport. The chaos and hilarity would be well worth it. But that's not the point of today's broadcast.]

I've also noticed there are a lot of people with powers here. If you have them, are there a lot of people who have them in your world? And if you don't have them, are there people in your world who do have them? I'm kind of curious if there's some kind of thing that makes people more likely to wind up here.

In my world? Not really, unless you count Sora. But in my universe...

[He chuckles.]

Yeah, I'd say magic's pretty common. You got Keyblade wielders like me, magicians, genies, evil witches and gods... Some worlds have less magic than others, but it's always there.

What's a Keyblade and how does that work? There was a sword called the Sword of Light in my world...I wonder if it's something like that.

[He can't help but be curious about these sorts of things. He's a being of magic - at his core, an energy-based life form, although he has a physical body.]

The name's kinda self-explanatory. It's a Key-shaped sword that can be summoned at will, open just about any lock, and is probably the most important weapon where I'm from. The kind of weapon that can save worlds if put to good use.

[Which probably sounds weird based on the concept, but hey, there's a reason for it.]

Only humans don't have magic where I'm from. All of the angels and demons, and those who live in the other world all have magic.

...Oh wait, I suppose souls working for a second chance kind of have magic...or more like they're made of it.

The souls...do they have physical forms or are they more like ghosts or what?

Well, they're as solid as anybody. They have to interact with humans.

[They just have to wear a hat at all times.]

This here's called the Pearl spell! I use it ta fight bad guys!

[That's the advantage of a child's form. He can come across as sincerely inquisitive and precocious rather than as creepy. Although he does enjoy adding in just a little bit of creep factor now and then.]

I'm not particularly surprised Mr. Loki decided to reply. He is rather demonstrative with his own powers, a bit of a show man as it were.

As far as I know, nobody has magic in my world - not real magic, like people here have. Just... rituals and stories.

What kind of rituals and stories?

Rituals to placate the spirits of the dead, or ward of evil. Stories... some are ghost stories, some are stories of gods and legendary creatures, some are of mortal heroes with mystical gifts.

[There's a note of hesitance in his voice, but in the end, he fails to see anything wrong with digging up a few details from home. So long as he doesn't dig too deeply.] I have practiced magic for nearly a decade. Few possess such a gift in my homeland, however, and they are hunted without mercy.
